Meet your guide at the meeting point near the Port of Nice and board a vintage convertible Land Rover Defender. The tour is conducted in a small group of up to 8 people, so unlike large tour buses, you can hear the guide's explanations up close and enjoy the scenery at leisure. Head towards Villefranche-sur-Mer along the Basse Corniche

Drive along the coastal road Basse Corniche, passing the old streets of the Port of Nice, the Mediterranean beaches, and the villas of Cape Nice. After taking in views of the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels), arrive at Villefranche-sur-Mer, a harbor town lined with pastel-colored buildings. You will also pass through the direction of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, stopping multiple times for photos.

Along the way, your guide will share stories about how Nice, once Italian territory, became part of France, why artists and royalty flocked to this region, luxury villas, movie filming locations, and everyday life by the Mediterranean.

Look Down at the Bay of Nice and Coastal Scenery from a Hilltop Viewpoint

Ascend to higher ground, such as the Villefranche-sur-Mer viewpoint and Fort du Mont Alban, along the panoramic road. You can look down at the Bay of Nice, the harbor, surrounding hills, and the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat peninsula all at once, and on a clear day, you can even see the Alpine peaks inland. Take a short break to enjoy a refreshing drink at a scenic spot.
