Chicago Field Museum of Natural History Ticket - Early Access VIP Dinosaur Tour Option

Meet SUE the T. rex and
the giant Máximo in the dinosaur hall

The Field Museum is one of Chicago's signature museums, with more than 35 natural history exhibitions. In the Evolving Planet exhibition of the dinosaur hall, you can get close to SUE, the largest and most complete T. rex discovered so far, and the giant titanosaur Máximo. Fossils of giant ground sloths and woolly mammoths are on display as well.

Explore gems, jade and ancient civilizations

Discover the underground ecosystem in the Underground Adventure exhibition and admire sparkling gems in the Hall of Gems. In the Hall of Jade, you can see one of the largest Chinese jade collections in North America.

Follow the stories of Ice Age mammoth hunters and the temples of the Inca and Aztec, then step into a full-scale ancient Egyptian mastaba tomb complex and meet the famous man-eating Lions of Tsavo.

See the dinosaurs before opening
on the Early Access VIP Tour

With the Early Access VIP Tour option, you explore the dinosaur exhibits with a museum guide for 1 hour before the museum opens to the public. The tour runs in small groups of 20 people or fewer, so you can take photos with SUE or Máximo without the crowds. After the tour, use your All-Access ticket to explore the rest of the museum at your own pace.
