Meet your English-speaking local guide at Pioneer Court on North Michigan Avenue and walk about 4 km over roughly 3 hours. Explore defining moments in Chicago history through its architecture, from the first Europeans to arrive here to the Great Chicago Fire, the origins of the skyscraper, the 1893 World Fair, Prohibition and the creation of Millennium Park.
Discover interiors at the Chicago Theatre, Macy’s and the Cultural Center

Pass the Chicago Theatre and visit Macy’s and the Chicago Cultural Center. Admire some of the most beautiful interiors in the Loop and Tiffany stained-glass works hidden inside buildings that thousands of people walk past every day, and learn how things created in these buildings changed the world.
See The Bean at Millennium Park

Spend about 30 minutes exploring Millennium Park, including The Bean. Along the tour, you will also see public artworks created especially for Chicago by Picasso, Calder and Kapoor.
Pass the Palmer House and finish at Daley Plaza

Visit the Palmer House Hilton and end the tour at Daley Plaza. Along the way, hear stories of the people who shaped Chicago, such as Jean Baptiste Point du Sable, Daniel Burnham, Potter and Bertha Palmer and Muddy Waters, as well as Jeanne Gang, who is shaping the architectural future of the city.
