Take the bus from Miami
to the Everglades wetlands

Board an air-conditioned Big Bus at Bayside Marketplace in Downtown Miami or SoundScape Park in Miami Beach and travel with a guide to Sawgrass Recreation Park. The drive to the park takes about 45 to 60 minutes, and the whole experience lasts about 5 hours from departure to return. On the Spanish tour options, a Spanish-speaking guide accompanies you during the bus ride.

Glide across the sawgrass prairie by airboat

When you arrive at the park, enjoy priority boarding and ride through the Everglades for about 45 minutes with an expert captain guide. As you cross open waterways and endless sawgrass prairies at up to 64 km/h (40 mph), the captain tells you about the unique ecosystem of the Everglades.

Keep an eye out for native wildlife in its natural habitat, such as alligators basking in the sun, wading birds, and turtles diving into the water. Earplugs are available on request during the airboat ride.

Meet alligators and reptiles at the wildlife exhibit

After the airboat ride, continue to the park's reptile sanctuary. Home to more than 50 rescued and adopted reptiles, it features turtles, iguanas, monitor lizards, a variety of snakes, and Florida alligators. You will also hear the story of 'Cannibal', the park's famous 450 kg (1,000 lb) alligator.

Educational presentations throughout the exhibit area show how these animals live in the wild. A complimentary group photo is also taken at the park.

Stop by the Gator Grill and return to Miami

Before heading back, you can stop by the Gator Grill in the park for gator bites, tacos, burgers, and more. At the end of the tour, the bus takes you back to your departure stop.
