I stumbled on this tour company thought Get Your guide and was VERY happy that I did. Ben was out guide. He was fun, energetic, had a great personality, and was well suited for the job. He had a way of making the tour interesting and fun, while bringing history to life.

The tour was taken by the most wonderful gentleman called Ben. He was considerate to all members on the tour and imparted his knowledge with fervour and with a flourish. The tour passed, so quickly and was immensely enjoyable. Thank you so much h Ben. Hussar!!!!

We had a wonderful tour of Boston's Freedom Trail with our guide Ben. I never knew the true impact of certain Founding Fathers and Ben brought them to life. My attention was kept throughout the two hours.

Costumed guide in the person of John Hancock. Very entertaining and definitely not in a rush. We had a lot of fun

Highlights

On this walking tour of about 105 minutes, follow the main section of the Freedom Trail with a historian in colonial costume and continue into Boston's historic North End. Starting at Boston Common, you'll pass the Granary Burying Ground, the Old State House, the Boston Massacre site and Faneuil Hall while hearing stories of America's founding. Unlike tours that end at Faneuil Hall, this one continues into the North End to the Paul Revere House and the Old North Church.

Program

Start at Boston Common with
a guide in colonial costume

Meet your colonial-costumed historian at the official visitor center in Boston Common, America's first public park, and begin the tour. Pass the Massachusetts State House and Park Street Church as you step into Boston's colonial history.

See the burial grounds and sites of the Founding Fathers

Pass the Granary Burying Ground and King's Chapel Burying Ground, where America's founders rest, and hear their stories. You'll also see the site of Boston Latin School, America's first public school, the Benjamin Franklin statue and the Old Corner Bookstore.

Pass the Boston Massacre site and Faneuil Hall

Explore the Old South Meeting House, linked to the Boston Tea Party, the Old State House and the site of the Boston Massacre. Discover the historic sites packed into the 2.1 km (1.3 miles) between Boston Common and Faneuil Hall, then arrive at Faneuil Hall, Boston's most visited spot.

Continue the story of the Revolution in the North End

Go past Faneuil Hall into Boston's historic North End to visit the Paul Revere House and see the Old North Church. Walk lesser-visited streets as the story of the Revolution continues, and finish the tour at the Paul Revere Mall.

※ Charlestown is not included in this tour.
※ The duration is an estimate; the tour may take up to 2 hours.
※ Entry to museums and attractions is not included.
