Start at Lafayette Park
and see the White House up close
Meet your guide in front of St. John's Church next to Lafayette Park, home to the statue of Andrew Jackson, and begin walking. Your guide takes you to spots where you can see the exterior of the White House from both the north and south sides, with time for photos.
Stroll through the Ellipse while hearing interesting facts about U.S. presidents, and depending on the season, take photos in front of the National Christmas Tree.
Follow the National Mall to the major memorials
Walk along the wide, tree-lined avenues of the National Mall to the Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. As you take in the impressive surroundings, your guide shares the rich history of each site.
Finish the tour at the Lincoln Memorial
