Departing from H&M Landing in Point Loma, you’ll head out in search of San Diego’s seasonal marine life, from blue whales and gray whales to dolphins, sea lions and seabirds. Tours usually last 3 to 3.5 hours and return to the same landing.

Marine biologists and certified naturalists explain animal behavior, how to identify species and every exciting moment at sea. Every tour is different, so each trip brings new encounters.
Ride the modern Peregrine
The Peregrine is a 25-meter vessel built for speed, safety and comfort. Mitsubishi zero-speed stabilizers reduce rolling and help prevent seasickness, and a cruising speed of up to 25 knots gets you to sightings quickly. Licensed for both coastal and offshore operation, it can explore a wider area of the ocean.
Relax indoors or out on deck
Enjoy the ocean from air-conditioned indoor seating, shaded outdoor decks and multiple viewing areas on the upper and lower decks. The onboard galley offers snacks and drinks, and clean restrooms are available.

Meeting point directions:
The H&M Landing building, where check-in takes place, is located between Point Loma Seafoods and Mitch’s Seafood/Point Loma Sportfishing when facing the water. After check-in, gather at the concrete steps outside Point Loma Seafoods and the landing, and the crew will lead you down to the boat 15–20 minutes before departure. If you arrive less than 20 minutes before departure, check in and walk all the way down the dock. The Peregrine is the last boat on the right.
