overall great experience!! location is kind of inconvenient, especially if you’re staying in san diego & don’t have access to a car. public transit only takes you so far and you will have to uber or lyft the rest of the way. slides were great & didn’t feel too “little kid ish”, some of them had to be closed for a while though because of too high water levels? lines weren’t bad either on a monday afternoon. the only downside was walking around from section to section, the ground was really hot & rough on your feet, and we were in pain by the end! we had a lovely time in the end, i would budget at least three hours here to get the full experience.

Highlights

Spend a fun day with your family at Sesame Place San Diego, the first Sesame Street theme park on the West Coast. Meet Sesame Street friends such as Elmo, Cookie Monster and Grover, and enjoy all the Sesame Street-themed rides, including roller coasters and a carousel. Cool off in the large wave pool and lazy river, and catch the parade and live shows. Choose the 2-park option to visit SeaWorld San Diego as well.

Program

Enjoy the world of Sesame Street
at Sesame Place

Sesame Place is a family theme park based on Sesame Street. Your ticket includes all 18 Sesame Street-themed rides as well as the shows. Ride Super Grover's Box Car Derby or look down over the park from Sesame Street Soar & Spin.

Splash around in the wave pool
and the lazy river

Cool off in the 500,000-gallon (about 1.89 million liters) wave pool, or float along on a tube at Big Bird's Rambling River. There are also rides such as rafting that children of all ages can enjoy.

Meet Elmo and friends
and watch the parade and shows

Take photos with Cookie Monster, Elmo and Grover in the Sesame Street Neighborhood, listen to stories from Big Bird and enjoy a variety of interactive games. Watch the all-new show "Welcome to Our Street" at the Sesame Street Theater, and dance with the characters at the Sesame Street Party Parade.

Add SeaWorld San Diego
with the 2-park ticket

Besides the Sesame Place 1-day ticket, you can choose a 2-park ticket that includes admission to SeaWorld San Diego. Visit Sesame Place on one day and SeaWorld San Diego on another day. All visits with the 2-park ticket must be completed within 1 year of the booking date.
