Dylan was awesome!!! He was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. Plus we could tell that he truly cared about and enjoyed what he was sharing with us. It makes a big difference when you can tell a person likes their job. He went at a manageable pace and was able to answer all of our questions as well. We very much appreciated this. He definitely made it a very comfortable and memorable experience.

We had an amazing tour with Dylan! He shared so much interesting information and even followed up with us after the tour, which we really appreciated. We only wish we could have had Dylan as our guide everywhere throughout our Texas trip! 🤗

We planned on taking the tour in San Antonio but a strong storm hit. Customer service responded quickly and were very fair in resolving our disappointment in not being able to take the tour, thank you GetYourGuide!

Highlights

Explore downtown San Antonio on foot with a local guide, then finish with a boat cruise along the River Walk. Starting from the historic Emily Morgan Hotel near the Alamo, you pass the Alamo and take a guided tour of La Villita, one of the oldest neighborhoods in San Antonio. Finally, cruise along the River Walk for about an hour and see historic bridges, restaurants, and landmarks from the water. Admission to the river boat cruise is included.

Program

Start at the Emily Morgan Hotel
and explore downtown San Antonio on foot

Meet your friendly local guide at the Emily Morgan Hotel, a Gothic Revival landmark just steps from the Alamo. Walk through downtown as you learn about the city's rich history and hear stories that bring Texas's past to life, passing the historic Alamo along the way.

Tour La Villita historic village with your guide

Take a guided tour of about 30 minutes through La Villita Historic Arts Village, one of the oldest neighborhoods in San Antonio. It is a charming area full of vibrant culture, art galleries, and boutiques.

Cruise along the River Walk by boat

The highlight of the tour is a boat cruise of about 1 hour along the San Antonio River Walk. Sit back and relax as you pass historic bridges, lively restaurants, and iconic landmarks, enjoying the city from the water.
