See original frescoes and the Espada Acequia

At Mission Concepción, admire the original frescoes, and see the rose window, a fine example of Baroque architecture. Then visit the old Espada Acequia (irrigation system), with its dam and aqueduct still in use today. It is one of the oldest and longest-operating irrigation systems in the United States, and you can enjoy the silhouettes of the Spanish- and Moorish-influenced missions against the South Texas sky.
