About the Host

Highlights

Rent a two-seat open-air Polaris Slingshot in Arlington and drive the scenic roads of the Dallas-Fort Worth area yourself, following GPS guidance. Watch planes take off and land at DFW Airport's Founders Plaza, cruise past Grapevine Lake and the winding roads of Castle Hills, and arrive at The Star in Frisco. At The Star, park and enjoy free time for dining and shopping. Choose from 4, 6, or 8 hours depending on the option, with unlimited mileage.

Program

Drive the Dallas-Fort Worth area
in a Polaris Slingshot

Check in at Dallas Slingshot Rental in Arlington and receive a safety briefing with a short informational video and an in-person overview. Choose your two-seat Polaris Slingshot from a variety of colors and hit the road.

The GPS route is preloaded on the Ride Command map for a self-guided drive, but you are free to go wherever you like. Comprehensive renter's insurance and unlimited mileage are included, and you can listen to your favorite music via Bluetooth or USB radio while you drive.

Pass DFW Airport planes and Grapevine Lake

Stop at DFW Founders Plaza, one of the best plane-spotting spots in North Texas, to watch huge commercial jets take off and land at DFW Airport. Then head north across Grapevine Lake to enjoy waterfront views, and drive the winding roads of Castle Hills with tree-lined boulevards and rolling hills.

Enjoy free time at The Star in Frisco

Arrive at The Star in Frisco, home of the Dallas Cowboys and a lively entertainment district. Park your Slingshot and explore at your own pace for about 1.5 to 5.5 hours. Dine, shop, enjoy the public art and plazas, then return to Arlington along a scenic route.

The round-trip drive takes about 2 hours 30 minutes, and the total time is 4, 6, or 8 hours depending on your option. Difficulty level: beginner.
