On this full-day tour, you are picked up from a designated hotel in downtown San Antonio or downtown Austin and leave the city for the rolling hills of the Texas Hill Country. Along the way, you pass wineries, lavender fields and peach and pecan orchards. An English-speaking guide accompanies you, and the tour ends with drop-off at a downtown hotel in your departure city.

Explore the LBJ Ranch, the "Texas White House"

At the first stop in Johnson City, visit President Lyndon B. Johnson's boyhood home. Then continue to Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park to explore the LBJ Ranch, also known as the "Texas White House." In the hangar, see LBJ's JetStar plane, nicknamed "Air Force One-Half," along with various exhibits, and watch a 14-minute film.

Enjoy free time in the German town of Fredericksburg

You will have free time in the historic German town of Fredericksburg. Shop at boutiques around the square, have lunch wherever you like, and taste Texas wine at one of the many tasting rooms around town. You can also visit the exhibits at the National Museum of the Pacific War (admission not included).

Stop in Luckenbach and at a Texas winery

Stop in Luckenbach, a small town founded as a trading post in 1849 and one of the oldest settlements in Texas, to enjoy traditional country music and a relaxed atmosphere. Finally, visit a Texas vineyard and learn about the development of the Texas wine industry. Wine tasting is optional and costs extra.
