Board a fast ferry at Hillarys Boat Harbour
and head to the island

Arrive at the Rottnest Fast Ferries ticket office in Hillarys Boat Harbour 45 minutes before departure to collect your ticket and bike. You can enjoy a coffee at the harbour before boarding, and the fast ferry reaches Rottnest Island in about 45 minutes.

If you choose the hotel pickup option, a free coach takes you from designated hotels in Perth and Scarborough to the harbour in time for the 7:30 am or 10:00 am ferry.

Ride freely around the car-free island

Once on the island, explore at your own pace with your all-day bike, helmet and lock. With no cars on the island, you can pedal at a relaxed pace all the way to Wadjemup Lighthouse or the West End at the island's western tip.

Meet quokkas at beautiful bays and beaches

Stop at the many bays and beaches around the island to take in the scenery, and snap a selfie with the famously smiling quokkas. A snorkel set can be added at checkout so you can discover the marine life around the island.

Return to Hillarys on the afternoon ferry

Leave Rottnest Island on the 4:30 pm ferry and arrive back at Hillarys Boat Harbour at 5:15 pm. With the hotel pickup option, you will be dropped back at your designated hotel.
