From Fremantle: Rottnest Island Ferry & Bus Day Tour

Take the ferry from Fremantle
to Rottnest Island

Board the ferry at the Rottnest Express B Shed Ferry Terminal at Victoria Quay, Fremantle. You'll reach Rottnest Island in about 25 minutes, and your ticket is for a same-day return ferry. Free pickup is also available from designated Fremantle hotels (book directly with the local operator at least 24 hours before the tour; subject to availability).

Circle the island on the Discovery bus tour

At your chosen morning or afternoon time, join the 1.5-hour Discovery bus tour. Relax in the air-conditioned coach as you circle the whole island, seeing secluded beaches, bays, Wadjemup Lighthouse, and other sights and natural scenery. A knowledgeable local guide shares stories of Rottnest's culture and social history and the island's diverse flora and fauna.

Enjoy free time on the beaches and island

Before or after the bus tour, you have free time. Rent a bike (at your own expense) to explore the island or swim at one of the many white sandy beaches, then take the ferry back to Fremantle.
