From Nice: Provence Countryside Day Tour - Biot, Gourdon, Tourettes-sur-Loup & Saint-Jeannet Wine Tasting (Hotel Pick-up)

We very much enjoyed this tour. From arranging pick up from our hotel to dropping us back there at the end of the day, Matt was a fabulous guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the places we visited and everywhere along the way. The information he shared about the history, culture, food and lifestyle of the area was very interesting and his advice and recommendations at the various stops was spot on. The tour itself was excellent with every stop having something unique and interesting as well as many fantastic photo opportunities. The scenery on the drive and at the various mountain villages was breathtaking. We loved the waterfall and had a delicious lunch in Gourdon. Matt’s driving on the winding mountain roads always felt safe, which was a great bonus. I would highly recommend this tour as it provides lots of great experiences.

It was a very relaxing tour from Nice to Biot and the back county side. Matt described a lot about the towns and villages as well as the history. He allowed us to take our time at each stop. Driving the roads wpuld distract from the view which was breath taking.

As first timers to Nice it was so convenient to be able to visit the things it’s famous for. The glass blowing was an unexpected bonus. The waterfall was really interesting. Things we wouldn’t have seen if we’d just organised it ourselves. All the places we visited were genuinely interesting and we didn’t get the hard sell anywhere. It was lovely to be picked up from our apartment and driven in the air conditioned van. Very luxurious. Our driver Amo was knowledgeable, spoke good English and kept us on track all day so we visited everything. It was a long day, and we covered lots of miles but it was a very comfortable way of visiting the countryside.
