on Foot with a Local Guide

2-Hour Tour: From Fourvière Hill to Place des Terreaux
Starting from Place Bellecour, take the funicular up Fourvière Hill to explore the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière and the Ancient Theatre of Fourvière. Then, cross the Saône River after passing through Vieux Lyon, which is lined with Saint-Jean Cathedral, Traboules (Renaissance-era secret passages), and Bouchon restaurants.
Finally, finish the tour at Place des Terreaux by viewing the Bartholdi Fountain and Lyon City Hall. The tour is conducted in a small group of up to 10 people and covers a total walking distance of about 5 km.
90-Minute Tour: Vieux Lyon, Traboules, and Grand Hôtel-Dieu
Departing from Saint-Jean Cathedral, explore Vieux Lyon filled with Bouchon restaurants and the Traboules. Cross the Saône River, pass by the Grand Hôtel-Dieu (a Renaissance-era hospital, now a luxury hotel and shopping complex), and conclude the tour at Place Bellecour. The tour has a capacity of up to 18 people and covers a total walking distance of about 2 km.
