This guided tour takes you from Zurich to Jungfraujoch, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007, and back in a single day. Travel by coach over the Brünig Pass and along Lake Brienz with a stop in Interlaken, then ride the Eiger Express cable car from Grindelwald Terminal up to Eigergletscher station. Change to the cogwheel train to reach Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe, where you can view the Aletsch Glacier from the Sphinx Observatory and walk through the Ice Palace tunnels inside the glacier. Reserved seats and priority boarding are included, and you are guaranteed at least 2 hours at the summit.

Depart from Zurich
and head up to Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe
Depart from Sihlquai bus station near Zurich main station and travel by coach via Lucerne to the Bernese Oberland. Enjoy Alpine scenery from the window as you drive over the Brünig Pass and along the shores of Lake Brienz. After a short stop in Interlaken, continue to Grindelwald.
Your guide speaks English, Spanish or Chinese depending on the option you book.
Ride the Eiger Express and cogwheel train to the summit
From Grindelwald Terminal, ride the cable car for about 15 minutes up to Eigergletscher station. There, change to the cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch and enjoy views of the three peaks: Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Reserved seats and priority boarding are included.
Explore the Sphinx Observatory and the Ice Palace
At the top, explore the Alpine plateau of ice, snow and rock at your own pace. Take in views of the Aletsch Glacier from the Sphinx Observation Terrace and the Plateau, and walk through the Ice Palace tunnels inside the glacier. At Alpine Sensation, created for the 100th anniversary of the Jungfrau Railway, you can learn about the history of the railway.
Descend via Wengen to Lauterbrunnen
On the way down, ride the train past the car-free resort village of Wengen to Lauterbrunnen (about 50 minutes). From Lauterbrunnen, a coach takes you back via Lucerne to the starting point in Zurich.
