Board Groningen's first floating terrace boat and relax as you cruise the waters of Groningen. At the onboard bar you can enjoy drinks such as beer and wine along with warm snacks (including vegetarian options). On sunny days the convertible roof opens, and when it rains it closes right away, so the ride stays comfortable in any weather. The boat departs right in front of Groningen Central Station, so it is easy to find.

This experience combines the relaxed feel of a terrace with a boat trip. The boat departs at set times from the boarding point in front of Groningen Central Station and cruises for 1 hour to 1 hour 45 minutes depending on the option. It is not a guided boat tour with historical commentary, but a laid-back cruise where you enjoy drinks on the water.

At the bar you can order a wide range of items, from summer beers and refreshing wines to warm snacks (including vegetarian options). With the basic options, drinks and snacks are paid for separately at the bar or table. If you choose an open bar or barbecue option, you can enjoy Heineken, wine and soft drinks for a set time.

Thanks to the cabriolet-style roof, you can ride under open skies on sunny days. If a sudden shower comes, the roof closes quickly to keep you dry, and the boat is heated in winter.

The boat holds up to 75 people, making it suitable for small gatherings as well as larger groups such as company outings and birthday parties. After sunset, soft lighting comes on, and you can relax on cushioned seats. There is a clean restroom on board, and the crew serves you throughout the cruise.

Stationsweg 1003, 9726 AE Groningen, Netherlands
Meeting point directions:
The boarding point is in front of Groningen Central Station. With your back to the station, go to the left side of the bridge leading toward the Groninger Museum. From the first sailing, a beach flag is placed at the concrete steps where you board. Rondvaartbedrijf Kool on the right side of the bridge is a different company, so please do not confuse the two. Searching for 'Terrasje Speciaal' on Google Maps is the easiest way to find it.
