After pickup from your accommodation in Ayers Rock Resort, travel in an air-conditioned vehicle to a private barbecue site inside Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Set among red sand dunes and desert oak trees, the site has a peaceful desert atmosphere. The tour departs 45 minutes before sunset, with commentary from your local driver-guide throughout the journey.

Enjoy an Australian barbecue dinner under the stars

Enjoy an outdoor barbecue dinner with a variety of Australian meats such as steak, sausages, chicken skewers and kangaroo, plus fresh salads. Choose from wine, beer or orange juice, and after dinner tea, coffee and dessert are served. The menu is subject to change.

Gaze at the southern night sky with Aboriginal stories

After dinner, the evening continues with an immersive cultural presentation in which your guide shares Aboriginal stories and cultural insights related to the southern night sky. If the sky is clear, the guide uses a high-powered spotlight to point out constellations visible to the naked eye. Far from the resort lights, the site offers great stargazing when the weather allows. You then return to Ayers Rock Resort.
