La Cité du Vin is Bordeaux's museum presenting wine as a cultural and living heritage. Enter directly without visiting the ticket office and see the permanent exhibition of 18 themed spaces. A handheld digital guide in 8 languages accompanies you, and you can spend about 3 hours in the permanent exhibition.
Meet the world's vineyards through interactive exhibits
In immersive, interactive spaces, tour vineyards around the world and learn about wine history and production through sensory experiences.
Enjoy a glass of wine at the 8th-floor belvedere
After your visit, head up to the 35 m high belvedere on the 8th floor for a 360-degree panorama of Bordeaux and its surroundings. Choose one glass from about 15 regularly changing world wines; the 2-tasting option includes two tastings.
Afterwards, you can browse the boutique, restaurants (including the 7th-floor panoramic restaurant), wine cellar and reading room.
