Highlights
Create your own perfume with a perfume expert at Le Studio Olfactif, a perfume workshop in central Bordeaux. Learn about the history and structure of perfume and its scent families, then choose your favorite notes from more than 100 ingredients and blend them yourself. The ingredients come from the Grasse region, France's perfume capital, and the alcohol is French organic alcohol. Take home your creation in a 30ml bottle with the cap and label colors and name of your choice. Sessions are held in small groups of up to 8.

Create your own perfume
with an expert in 2.5 hours
The workshop begins with the history of perfume and a few anecdotes. Then learn how perfume is made, its structure, the different scent families and their characteristics.
Sessions run Monday to Saturday, mornings and afternoons, in French and English.
Find your blend among 100+ ingredients
Smell notes from various families and choose the notes and accords you want in your perfume. There are more than 100 options; the ingredients are produced in the Grasse region and the alcohol is French organic alcohol.
With the expert's help, create your own formula, try a few variations and pick your favorite.
Choose the cap, label and name, then take your perfume home
Choose the cap color, label color and the name of your perfume. Leave with your 30ml bottle and your personal formula.

At the address, press 'Le Studio Olfactif' on the intercom at the large blue door (opposite Le Comptoir des Chats). Once you are let in, the studio is at the far right end of the courtyard.
