Follow the underground PATH
through downtown Toronto
This English walking tour explores the PATH, a 32-km underground walkway beneath downtown Toronto, with a guide who knows it well. In a small group of up to 10 people, you'll walk about 3 km over roughly 2 hours, starting at the Great Hall of Union Station and finishing at Toronto City Hall. On an average weekday, 200,000 to 300,000 people use the PATH to get around downtown without ever going outside.
Enter the PATH from the Great Hall of Union Station

Meet your guide in the Great Hall, the historic part of Union Station, and head into the PATH. The PATH has more than 1,200 shops and food courts, 6 subway stations and 9 hotels, and connects to basketball and hockey arenas as well as the city's busiest shopping malls. Your guide shows historic photos of the area and shares stories about the buildings along the PATH.
Learn how to find your way in the PATH

Learn tips that help you figure out which direction you're heading in the maze of underground passages. The tour uses escalators four times; on weekends some escalators in certain buildings are not running, so stairs or elevators can be used instead.
Step outside briefly to see Toronto landmarks

During the tour, step outside briefly to see famous Toronto buildings such as the CN Tower, Scotiabank Arena and the Hockey Hall of Fame. Then continue through the PATH and finish the tour at Toronto City Hall.
※ Some places visited on the tour may be closed on certain weekends and holidays.
