Travel about 2 hours from Milan by minivan to reach Alba. After a brief orientation walk of the town with your guide, you will have about 2 hours of free time to stroll through the medieval streets and enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice. Your guide will be happy to recommend local restaurants and dishes.
Barolo tasting at a family-run winery
In the afternoon, visit a family-run winery in Langhe to tour the underground cellars where the wines age. Next, taste up to 7 types of wine, including the prestigious Barolo, guided by an expert while listening to the stories of the winemakers.
Admire vineyard views at Grinzane Cavour Castle
Stop by the UNESCO World Heritage site, Grinzane Cavour Castle, to take in the sprawling views of the Barolo vineyards from its terrace and snap some photos. Afterward, head back to Milan in the minivan.
※ On Tuesdays when the castle is closed, you will be taken to alternative scenic viewpoints in Langhe, such as the town of La Morra.
