This is a full-day tour of about 11 hours from Calgary. You travel by van or minivan, with live commentary from an English-speaking guide on board. Group tours depart from a meeting point in downtown Calgary, and private tours depart from an agreed pickup location.

Visit the Bar U Ranch and Lundbreck Falls

Your first stop is the Bar U Ranch National Historic Site, once one of the most influential ranches in western Canada. Get a unique look at cowboy life, prairie traditions, and Alberta's ranching history, and enjoy authentic cowboy coffee and tea.

Next, stop at Lundbreck Falls to watch the water pour into the canyon below and take a short break. Then take a short loop drive through a reserve where bison roam freely.

Discover Red Rock Canyon and Waterton Lake

Take photos at a Waterton Park viewpoint where the prairies meet the Rockies, then stroll along the creek or enjoy a short hike in Red Rock Canyon, with its red and green rocks.

Surrounded by peaks and forests, glacial Waterton Lake is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and part of the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park shared with the United States. You will also stop at the Prince of Wales Hotel, built in 1927 above the lake.

Finish in Waterton village and at Cameron Falls

Enjoy free time in the lakeside village of Waterton, where you can stroll streets lined with shops, cafes, and ice cream parlors or grab a quick bite. Finally, visit Cameron Falls in the village before returning to Calgary.
