Program
Leave Canmore or Banff early
and head to Moraine Lake
After pickup at the Canmore Visitor Information Centre (08:40) or Banff Caribou Lodge (09:00), travel in an air-conditioned vehicle past Cascade Mountain and Castle Mountain.
In summer, spend about 50 minutes taking photos at turquoise Moraine Lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks. In winter, Lake Minnewanka is visited instead of Moraine Lake.
Admire Victoria Glacier at Lake Louise
Spend about 50 minutes strolling the shore of Lake Louise, one of the most photographed lakes in Canada, and take in Victoria Glacier and the surrounding peaks. Then enjoy about an hour for lunch in Lake Louise Village (meal not included).
Visit Emerald Lake and the Natural Bridge
in Yoho National Park
Cross into Yoho National Park and relax for about 30 minutes at Emerald Lake with its deep green water. At the nearby Natural Bridge, spend about 15 minutes watching the Kicking Horse River rush through the rock.
Walk the Johnston Canyon trail to the falls
At your final stop, Johnston Canyon, spend about an hour walking the trail between limestone cliffs to the waterfall. After the tour, return to the pickup points in Canmore and Banff.
※ Moraine Lake is visited in summer (June 1–October 12) and Lake Minnewanka in winter (October 13–May 31).
