The performance takes place at Palazzo Barbarigo-Minotto, one of Venice's most notable Gothic palaces. Focused on the interaction between singers, musicians and audience, the show uses the stage in 360 degrees, so you feel as if you are experiencing the opera from the inside.
Move to a different hall for each act
Each act takes place in a different one of three spaces in the palace, and the audience moves along. Not just the backdrop but the whole setting changes, giving each act a new atmosphere. You also get to see rooms decorated with Tiepolo paintings and stucco work.
Listen to arias with a small ensemble
Reviving a tradition from the late 1800s, talented singers perform accompanied by a small string ensemble and piano. Depending on the option you book, you will see La Traviata, Rigoletto or The Barber of Seville. A glass of wine or a soft drink is served during the first intermission.
※ The performance lasts about 2 hours and is sung in Italian.
※ You must climb 30 steps to reach the concert hall; there is no elevator.

Cross the small bridge behind the Church of Santa Maria del Giglio (two white and yellow signs on the wall) and follow the small canal on your left. Turn right at the "Sotoportego Barbarigo" sign; the entrance is the last door on the left (No. 2504), under the archway.
