The Zoo sauvage de Saint-Félicien focuses on animals from the boreal regions and the colder parts of the world. The animals live in open, spacious environments designed to resemble their natural habitats, often alongside other species. Your ticket includes the pedestrian trails, the Nature Trail Park train tour, a multisensory film and the water play area.

Ride a train through the Nature Trail Park

The Nature Trail Park is the attraction that made the zoo famous. You cross the park on a fenced train: the animals roam free while the people are in the cage. In wide-open North American landscapes, some recreated and some completely natural, watch animals forage, rest and cross paths. Along the way you will also see historic sites that recall the region’s culture and history.

Walk the trails of seven zones

The pedestrian area is divided into seven zones: the Arctic tundra, East Asia, the Laurentian forest, Mongolia, the Rocky Mountains, the Ethiopian highlands and a small farm. Follow the trails through each zone to watch the animals go about their daily lives up close and learn about biodiversity and the environment.
