Take the bus from Quebec City
to Charlevoix
Board an air-conditioned bus at Fontaine de Tourny in Quebec City. The ride to Baie-Sainte-Catherine in Charlevoix takes about 3 hours each way, and you can enjoy the Charlevoix scenery along the way.
After arriving in Baie-Sainte-Catherine, there is time for a break. You can bring your own lunch, or buy a pre-made box lunch from the local lunch service after arrival (subject to availability).
Look for whales by boat or Zodiac

Set out to watch whales in the way you chose when booking. The boat option is a large vessel with outdoor decks and a glass-enclosed indoor lounge with 180-degree panoramic views, plus indoor and outdoor seating, restrooms, observation platforms, a boutique and a cafeteria. The Zodiac option takes you close to the water’s surface aboard a Zodiac designed for marine mammal watching, and waterproof jackets and pants are provided.
Look for up to 13 whale species in the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park. A certified naturalist guide shares stories about the whales and the surrounding area in English and French, and you search for whales together with the captain and crew.
Admire the Tadoussac coast and the Saguenay Fjord

Along the way, you pass coastal sights such as the village of Tadoussac, Les Dunes, the Pointe-Noire Interpretation and Observation Centre and Pointe de l'Islet. There is also time for photos near Prince Shoal Light. Take in the views of the Saguenay Fjord, where cliffs rise from the calm water.
Return to Quebec City by bus

After whale watching, board the bus again for the roughly 3-hour ride back to Fontaine de Tourny.
※ Wildlife lives in its natural habitat, so sightings are not guaranteed. If you do not see any whales, the operator will offer you another whale watching tour (boat option only).
※ The schedule and order of visits may change depending on local conditions.
