This day tour takes you by bus from Sapporo to Otaru Asarigawa Onsen Ski Resort for a full day of skiing. In the morning, a professional instructor teaches you how to use the equipment and basic ski techniques for about 2 hours, and in the afternoon you have about 2 hours to ski freely. Asarigawa is one of the rare ski resorts in Hokkaido facing the sea, so you can enjoy open ocean views as you ski down. Round-trip bus, lift ticket and ski equipment rental are included, and the Deluxe Package also includes ski wear rental.

for Asarigawa Ski Resort with sea views

Meet at Platform 5 of the group bus stop at Sapporo Station North Exit at 7:45 AM, and the bus departs at 8:00 AM sharp. Otaru Asarigawa Onsen Ski Resort, a popular ski destination in Hokkaido, faces the sea, letting you take in the wide blue ocean as you head down the slopes.

Learn the basics of skiing in a 2-hour lesson

When you arrive at the resort, pick up your ski equipment and start a lesson of about 2 hours from 10:00 AM. The instructor adjusts the teaching to each participant's age, ski experience, fitness and goals, covering how to use the equipment, ski passes and lift tickets, and basic ski techniques. After the lesson, the instructor assesses your progress to decide whether you can use the ski lifts.

The Basic Package includes a lift ticket, ski pass, 2-hour ski lesson and ski equipment rental, and the Deluxe Package adds ski wear rental.

Enjoy lunch and free skiing on the slopes

From noon, take a break of about 1 hour for lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense). Choose from warm, freshly made dishes such as crispy fried chicken, pork cutlet curry rice and hot ramen.

From 1:00 PM, enjoy about 2 hours of free skiing around the resort. Skiing ends at 3:00 PM, when you return your equipment and take the bus back, arriving at Sapporo Station North Exit around 5:30 PM.
