I joined a Japanese tea ceremony experience where I also wore a kimona. It was very enjoyable and special for me. It was absolutely perfect from start to end. Everything was thoughtfully organized, and the atmosphere felt peaceful and beautiful. Wearing the kimona was such a special experience. It was a beautiful traditional kimona. The fabrix was soft silk with lovely traditional patterns. They allowed me to select the fabric. The colours and designed were not just beautiful, but also meaningful. They helped me to wear it properly and explained the material, style etc. I felf very elegant and happy. The tea ceremony felt like meditation. Every movement was performed with such care and precision. I learned so much about the philosophy behind the ritual. Preparing and enjoying the matcha in that serene setting was unforgettable. The hosts were warm, patient, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in Japanese culture.

I have never done Japanese tea ceremony before, so I was a little nervous that I would do something wrong or spill tea on the gorgeous kimono I was wearing. And you know, everything is so beautiful looking I didn't want to break anything! But Ritsuko and Miki made me feel so comfortable and it really wasn't that hard! I was surprised too that it didn't take too long to put on a kimono. I think my favorite part, though, was just making food with them. The are really friendly girls and we just chatted and they showed me how easy making Japanese food can be. I want to start making miso soup for my boys at home and maybe even rice balls for their lunch if they let me haha.
