Meet your local guide at Exit 7 of Nampo Station at 7 PM and ride in a vehicle with a driver to Yeongdo for about 15 minutes. Start hiking near the Jonaegi Sweet Potato History Museum and follow quiet trails up to the summit of Bongnaesan.

Enjoy sea and city night views from the summit

Enjoy the sea views as you hike to the summit, then spend about 15 minutes taking photos at the summit observatory. You can see a night panorama where the city lights blend with the dark sea. Next, visit the legendary Halmae Rock, a popular spot where locals make wishes, and make your own wish as your guide explains the story.

Share Korean hiking snacks at the summit

Take a 30-minute break at the summit observatory and enjoy classic Korean hiking snacks together: hot cup noodles and gimbap in summer, and a warm instant meal in winter. After snacks and conversation, walk down for about 30 minutes and ride back to Nampo Station. You arrive at Nampo Station around 9:30 PM; getting off near Exit 10 is recommended.
