Start with a safety briefing and theory class
at a surf shop on Songjeong Beach

When you arrive at the surf shop, put on a wetsuit that fits and join an indoor safety briefing and theory class. Then walk just 10 seconds to the beach for stretching and a lesson on basic surfing techniques.

Catch your first wave with a surf coach

With the help of a professional surf coach, head into the water, learn how to balance on the board and catch your first wave. Your instructor will guide you on the best timing to stand up, so even beginners can enjoy the thrill of surfing. Depending on your option, the lesson is a 1-hour beginner lesson or a 2-hour beginner/advanced lesson.

Enjoy free surfing until sunset

After the lesson, keep practicing with unlimited free surfing until sunset. Surfboards, wetsuits, towels, shampoo and body wash are provided by the shop, so you can travel light. After surfing, relax in the hot showers stocked with toiletries.
