After pickup from your accommodation, travel about 1.5 hours across the Albanian countryside in an air-conditioned vehicle. On the way, stop briefly at Bovilla Canyon for refreshments and photos. During the drive, your guide talks about Albanian history, culture, and local life.
Admire Bovilla Lake, surrounded by mountains and a dam
Arriving at Bovilla Lake, explore the views of the lake framed by dramatic mountain scenery and an impressive dam with your guide. There are photo stops so you can take your time capturing the wide-open views.
Hike to the Gamti Mountain viewpoint
Next, start an approximately 30-minute hike toward the Gamti Mountain viewpoint. As you climb, open views of the lake, jagged peaks, and unspoiled landscapes unfold. At the top, enjoy free time to rest and take photos.
Relax, have lunch, and return
After the hike, relax for about 1.5 hours in the Bovilla climbing area, where you can buy coffee, tea, beer, or lunch and enjoy free time (food and drinks at your own expense). Return along the same path and drive back to Tirana or Durrës.
