From Honningsvåg: North Cape & Skarsvåg Fishing Village Bus Tour

Board the bus in Honningsvåg
and head to the North Cape plateau

Meet at the Honningsvåg tourist information office and ride a comfortable bus across Magerøya island toward the North Cape. Your local driver, who knows the Arctic well, doubles as your guide, sharing stories about the scenery and the region and answering questions during stops. The tour is guided in English and Norwegian.

Stop at a fishing village and fjord viewpoints

Along the way, the bus stops at two scenic viewpoints. See the landscapes of Magerøya, including Skarsvåg, one of the northernmost fishing villages in the world, Tufjord, surrounded by dramatic mountains and Arctic nature, and the peaceful Skipsfjord with its panoramic views.

Look for wild reindeer on the road

From May to September, wild reindeer roam across the island. Your local driver keeps an eye on the areas reindeer often visit, and slows down or stops in a safe place for photos whenever reindeer are spotted and conditions allow.

Enjoy free time at the North Cape plateau

At the North Cape plateau, you have plenty of free time. Take photos at the Globe Monument, admire the cliffs overlooking the Barents Sea or explore the visitor center. Access to the North Cape plateau is included, but entry to the North Cape Hall (visitor center) is not. You can decide on site whether to buy a ticket after checking the weather and conditions.
