The Macao Science Center is made up of a slanted cone, a hemisphere and a rhombus-shaped podium, which house the Exhibition Center, the Planetarium and the Convention Center. Its exterior, finished in silver-grey aluminium panels and dark granite, stands out even from afar. Take a photo at the heart-shaped tree square in front of the center.

Experience science in 13 permanent galleries

The 5,800㎡ Exhibition Center and atrium house 13 permanent galleries themed on astronomy, fun science, children's science, navigation science, biodiversity, smart technology, acoustics, physical mechanics, the spirit of Chinese scientists, sustainable development, data science, and electricity and electromagnetism. There is also a separate gallery for special exhibitions.

Learn science by seeing and touching

The exhibits are knowledge-based and interactive, so you can press buttons and move devices to understand scientific principles yourself. It is easy to explore at a relaxed pace with children, and photography is allowed in most areas.

※ Opening hours are 10:00 to 18:00, closed on Thursdays (open 10:00 to 18:00 during the Labour Day, National Day and Spring Festival holidays).
※ Exhibition Center tickets are limited to 500 per day. If sold out, you may need to queue at the ticket office.
※ Photography may be restricted at some exhibits.
