This ticket gives you admission to Sapporo Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill, where you can enjoy wide-open Hokkaido scenery right within Sapporo City. Beyond the sheep grazing on the rolling hills, the Ishikari Plain and the Sapporo cityscape stretch out below. Taking a photo in the same pose as the statue of Dr. Clark, with his right hand raised high, is the classic thing to do here. Seasonal events such as the summer lavender harvest and the winter Snow Park can also be enjoyed for free.

Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill offers pastoral scenery while still being inside Sapporo City. The Ishikari Plain and the Sapporo cityscape spread out below the hill, and you can see sheep grazing on the meadows.

The statue of Dr. Clark with his right hand raised high is the symbol of this spot. Taking a souvenir photo in the same pose as the statue is the classic way to enjoy Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill.

Every July, 1,000 lavender plants come into bloom, and in mid-July you can join a free lavender harvesting experience. From early January to early March, the "Hitsujigaoka Snow Park" is held, where you can enjoy snow activities such as snow tubing, cross-country skiing and mini snowman making for free.
Open 9:00–18:00 from June to September (last admission 17:45) and 9:00–17:00 from October to May (last admission 16:45). Closed irregularly.
