After collecting your ticket at the base of Shanghai Tower, follow the staff to the dedicated elevator. Moving at 18m per second, it reaches the Shanghai Tower Sightseeing Hall on the 118th floor in just 55 seconds.
Look down on Shanghai in 360 degrees from 546m
From the spacious indoor observation deck, take in the winding Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl Tower, the historic buildings of the Bund and the cityscape stretching to the horizon. Interactive multimedia displays and information panels help you spot the main landmarks and learn about the city's growth.

This is a self-guided experience with no accompanying guide. The deck is a comfortable, climate-controlled indoor space, ideal for relaxing and taking photos. The recommended visit time is 1–2 hours.
The "118th Floor Observation Deck + 1,000-ton Tuned Mass Damper" option adds a viewing of the 1,000-ton tuned mass damper to the observation deck entry.
