After an early-morning pickup from your hotel in the Hurghada area, transfer to Hurghada Airport and take a flight to Cairo (about 80 minutes). Meet the local staff holding a sign outside the arrivals hall in Cairo to begin the tour.

Explore the museum with an Egyptologist guide

Meet your Egyptologist guide at the museum. Depending on your option, visit the state-of-the-art Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) or the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square to see treasures of ancient Egypt.

See the Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx

Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant overlooking the pyramids, then take photos at the panoramic point with a sweeping view of the Giza Pyramids. Visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the last surviving wonder of the ancient world, along with the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, and see the Great Sphinx up close.

Explore more of Cairo if time allows, then fly back

If time allows, you can arrange a Nile boat ride (extra cost) or a visit to Old Cairo with your guide. If your return flight is late in the evening, spend time at Khan el-Khalili market, Old Cairo, or the Cairo Festival City mall. Then fly back to Hurghada from Cairo Airport, and a vehicle takes you to your hotel on arrival.
