This 4-day, 3-night trip flies you from Cairo to Aswan, where you board a 5-star cruise and sail down the Nile to Luxor. Program

Fly from Cairo to Aswan
and board your Nile cruise

On day 1, you are picked up early in the morning from your hotel in Cairo and taken to the airport for a flight of about 1.5 hours to Aswan. Meet your private guide and driver to visit the Aswan Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, which reveals ancient stone-cutting techniques, then take a motorboat to Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis.

After sightseeing, board your 5-star Nile cruise for lunch and relax on deck. Dinner is also served on board.

Discover Abu Simbel and Kom Ombo Temple

On day 2, you leave early at around 4:00 AM, so ask the cruise reception for a breakfast box the night before. Join a group tour and travel about 4 hours by air-conditioned van to Abu Simbel, where you tour the colossal temples carved into the rock for Ramses II and Queen Nefertari with a guide.

Return to the boat for lunch and sail toward Kom Ombo. On arrival, visit Kom Ombo Temple, uniquely dedicated to two gods, Sobek and Horus, with your guide, then enjoy dinner and an overnight stay on board.

Ride a horse carriage to Edfu Temple

On day 3, after breakfast, ride a horse carriage to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Return to the cruise for lunch, enjoy the Nile scenery as you sail, and have dinner on board on your final night.

Fly over Luxor in a hot air balloon
and explore its ancient sites

On day 4, check out early, leave your luggage at the cruise reception and set off on a sunrise hot air balloon flight over Luxor. Float above the Nile Valley and look down on temples, tombs and farmland bathed in morning light.

After landing, your guide takes you to the Valley of the Kings to visit three royal tombs, the Temple of Hatshepsut beneath the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon, two giant statues of Amenhotep III. Then cross to the East Bank to visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, linked by the Avenue of Sphinxes. After the tour, collect your luggage from the cruise and transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo, where a driver takes you back to your hotel.
