From Cairo: Luxor Hot Air Balloon & Felucca 2-Day Private Tour with Flights

Around 4 PM, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza in an air-conditioned vehicle and taken to Cairo International Airport for the 1-hour flight to Luxor. A representative will meet you outside the airport and take you to your hotel to rest.

Float above Luxor in a sunrise hot air balloon

Around 4:00–4:30 AM, the balloon staff will pick you up from your hotel. Take the breakfast box prepared by the hotel and enjoy a 45–80 minute balloon flight at about 1,500 feet, admiring Luxor's ancient sites from the sky.

Explore the Valley of the Kings and the West Bank temples

After landing, head to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where rock-cut tombs of New Kingdom pharaohs and nobles are found. Continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut with its three great terraces below the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, and Medinet Habu, the mortuary temple of Ramesses III.

Stop at the Colossi of Memnon to see the remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III, then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Sail the Nile by felucca
and visit Karnak and Luxor Temples

Sail the Nile on a traditional felucca and relax with a drink while enjoying the scenery of Luxor. Then cross to the East Bank to visit Karnak Temple, the largest temple in Luxor dedicated to Amun, Mut and Khonsu, and Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and completed by Ramesses II.

After the tour, take the 1-hour flight from Luxor International Airport back to Cairo, where a representative will meet you outside the airport and take you to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
