Program

Discover ancient Egypt and Greco-Roman
heritage in Cairo and Alexandria

On Day 1, you are picked up early in the morning from your hotel in Cairo or Giza and head to the Pyramids of Giza. See the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx and the surrounding tombs, then enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Egyptian Museum, home to treasures such as the golden mask of Tutankhamun and royal mummies, check in to your hotel and have dinner at a local restaurant.

On Day 2, after breakfast, travel to Alexandria by private vehicle. Visit the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, where Egyptian and Greco-Roman styles blend, and the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, which honors the ancient library. After lunch, stop at the 15th-century Citadel of Qaitbay overlooking the sea, then return to Cairo for the night.

Board a Nile cruise in Aswan
and explore Abu Simbel and temples

On Day 3, fly to Aswan in the morning. Meet your guide and visit a colorful Nubian village, then take a motorboat to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Afterwards, board your 5-star Nile cruise and have lunch on board.

On Day 4, leave early with a breakfast box for a small-group road trip to Abu Simbel and admire the massive rock-cut temples built by Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. After returning for lunch, visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to two gods and sail overnight. On Day 5, ride a horse carriage to the well-preserved Temple of Edfu, then return to the cruise and sail to Luxor.

On Day 6, begin with a hot air balloon ride over Luxor. After landing, have breakfast and check out with your luggage, then visit the West Bank highlights: the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Explore the vast Karnak Temple before transferring to your hotel in Hurghada.

in Hurghada

On Day 7, take a boat trip to Orange Bay to swim, snorkel or relax on the white sand beach, returning to the hotel in the afternoon. Day 8 is a free day at your beach resort in Hurghada.

On Day 9, fly back to Cairo in the morning. Your driver takes you to your hotel in Cairo or Giza, concluding your 9-day journey.
