Your day starts with pickup from your hotel on the East Bank of Luxor. An Egyptologist guide accompanies you and explains the history and meaning of each site. This is a group tour shared with other travelers.
Discover the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut
First, explore the Valley of the Kings, the burial ground of ancient Egypt's pharaohs. Next, visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, with its three massive terraces at the foot of the Deir el-Bahari cliffs, and stop at the Colossi of Memnon to see the remains of Amenhotep III's mortuary temple.
Enjoy lunch and head to Karnak Temple on the East Bank
Take a break with lunch at a local restaurant, then cross to the East Bank. Explore Karnak Temple, built for the Theban Triad of Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu, with commentary from your guide.
End the day at Luxor Temple
Finish the tour at Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty and completed by Ramses II in the New Kingdom. After the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel.
