and head to Luxor

After pickup from your hotel in Hurghada, travel about 4.5 hours to Luxor on a modern air-conditioned coach with comfortable seats and a restroom. A tour escort accompanies you, and snacks and water are provided during the day.

Explore the Valley of the Kings and Tutankhamun's Tomb

In Luxor, spend about 2 hours with your guide at the Valley of the Kings, one of Egypt's most famous archaeological sites, visiting three royal tombs. If booked as an option, you will spend about 30 minutes in the Tomb of Tutankhamun.

See the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon

Next, spend about 45 minutes at the mortuary temple dedicated to the female pharaoh Hatshepsut and about 30 minutes at the Colossi of Memnon. After a stop of about 35 minutes at an alabaster workshop, enjoy lunch with Nile views at a local restaurant.

Walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall of Karnak Temple

After lunch, explore Karnak Temple for about 2 hours. See the Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive sandstone columns, some reaching 21 meters (69 feet) high, the Sacred Lake where priests performed purification rituals, and the obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut. At the end of the day, return to your hotel in Hurghada by coach.
