Program
Board your cruise in Aswan and
visit the High Dam and Philae Temple
After pickup from Aswan airport, the train station or your hotel, board the Nile cruise ship and check in. Then visit the Aswan High Dam and explore Philae Temple on Agilkia Island.
Head to Abu Simbel early in the morning
On day two, depart early at around 4:30 AM for Abu Simbel. See the monumental rock-cut temples of Ramses II, then return to the cruise and sail on to the double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to two gods.
See Edfu Temple and Luxor Temple by night
On the morning of day three, visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu. Sail to Luxor while enjoying views of the Nile, and in the evening explore the illuminated Luxor Temple.
Fly over Luxor's West Bank in a hot air balloon
Early on the last day, float over Luxor's ancient sites in a hot air balloon for about 30-45 minutes. Then head to the West Bank to see the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings.
A visit to the Karnak Temple complex is listed in the itinerary as optional or external. The tour usually ends around 3:00-5:00 PM with a transfer to Luxor airport, the train station or your accommodation.
