From Luxor: Nile Cruise & Abu Simbel 4-Day Tour - Valley of the Kings Included

Start in Luxor
and sail the Nile to Aswan

On day 1, your Egyptologist guide picks you up in Luxor city at 7:10 AM. Cross to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, where the ancient pharaohs were buried, and hear the story of the queen at the Temple of Hatshepsut.

Then transfer to the Nile cruise, check in to your cabin, have lunch and set sail from Luxor. From the sun deck, enjoy views of river islands, small boats and Egyptian villages, and sail on through the Esna Lock to Edfu.

Visit Edfu Temple by horse carriage and Kom Ombo Temple

On the morning of day 2, ride a horse carriage to Edfu Temple. Back on the cruise, sail to Kom Ombo, visit Kom Ombo Temple around sunset and continue sailing overnight toward Aswan.

Leave before dawn to visit the temples of Abu Simbel

On day 3, leave the cruise at 4:15 AM by air-conditioned bus to visit the temples of Abu Simbel.

Finish with the Aswan High Dam and Philae Temple

On day 4, after an early breakfast, check out and start the final tour. Hear the story behind the construction of the Aswan High Dam and explore Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The tour ends around 2:00 PM.
