See crocodiles from around the world up close
in the main alligator garden

Under the dome roof of the alligator garden, you can observe the crocodiles through glass from the side or from below. You can also watch the feeding up close as they swallow large chunks of chicken in a single bite, and the large freshwater fish such as the tambaqui (colossoma) and alligator gar are popular too.

Meet tropical water lilies and Amazonian manatees in the botanical garden

Eight greenhouses display tropical plants such as bougainvillea, hibiscus, cattleya and giant water lilies, and the tropical water lilies, with about 60 varieties always on view, are a highlight. The gentle Amazonian manatees, which sometimes swim up to the glass, and the baby crocodiles are also in this area.

See lesser pandas and tropical fruits in the annex orchard

In the annex you can see many tropical fruit trees such as banana, papaya, guava and miracle fruit. Western lesser pandas, saltwater crocodiles measuring 2 to 3 m and Aldabra giant tortoises also live here. Fruit grown in the garden can be tasted for an extra fee in limited quantities, and the original banana soft-serve ice cream is a popular menu item.
