Highlights
This cruise tour takes you down the Li River from Guilin to Yangshuo, past rows of karst peaks. Along this stretch you can also see the scenery printed on the back of the 20-yuan note. Choose a 3-star, 4-star or 5-star cruise, each with an onboard meal and complimentary tea. Pickup from your Guilin hotel to the pier is included, and after the cruise you can explore Yangshuo's West Street at your leisure.
Program
Get picked up at your Guilin hotel
and head to Zhujiang Pier
After pickup from your hotel in downtown Guilin, drive about 50 minutes to Zhujiang Pier. Service staff at the pier will help you board.
Sail the Li River among karst peaks
The cruise sails down the Li River to Yangshuo for about 4 hours. Enjoy southern Chinese countryside with limestone peaks, farmland, water buffalo and bamboo rafts. Onboard commentary is in Chinese, and you can scan a QR code for multilingual audio commentary.
Meals and seating depend on the boat class
The 3-star boat has a shared cabin and a simple lunch, while the 4-star boat offers spacious seats, a lunch buffet and an outdoor viewing deck. The 5-star luxury cruise features premium facilities, a deluxe buffet and larger viewing areas. Complimentary tea is served on all classes.
Disembark in Yangshuo and explore West Street
The tour ends when you disembark at Yangshuo Pier. Afterwards you are free to stroll the famous West Street. Transport after disembarking is not included.
Add the Impression Sanjie Liu show in the evening
Directed by Zhang Yimou, the outdoor show Impression Sanjie Liu uses Yangshuo's karst mountains and the Li River as its stage. The show usually starts around 20:00 and lasts about 70 minutes. A driver picks you up from your hotel in Yangshuo County before the show, and round-trip transport between the hotel and the venue is included.
※ The itinerary is for reference and may change depending on local conditions.
※ The Impression Sanjie Liu show may be canceled in heavy rain.
