Admire the delicate carving of the Veiled Christ
The chapel's signature work, the Veiled Christ (Cristo Velato), is famous for its lifelike detail rendered in marble. Your guide introduces this statue and the chapel's other masterpieces one by one.
See Modesty, Disillusion and the anatomical machines
You will also see other works in the chapel, such as the intricate statues Modesty (Pudicizia) and Disillusion (Disinganno). Look into the mystery of the anatomical machines made with remarkable precision, and hear about the Baroque art left by Raimondo di Sangro.
