by vehicle without trekking
This tour is for travelers who want to see Sapa's highlights without long walks. The half-day tour (about 4 hours) departs at 8:00 AM or 2:00 PM and visits Cat Cat Village and Moana Sapa, with the option to finish on the alpine coaster. The full-day tour (about 7 hours) departs at 8:00 AM and covers Fansipan summit, Cat Cat Village and Moana Sapa. Group tours start from the Sapa Stone Church and private tours start from your hotel.
Ride the monorail and cable car
to the summit of Fansipan
On the full-day tour, ride the Muong Hoa monorail through the valley, the Fansipan cable car with sweeping mountain views and the funicular to the top of Fansipan, Vietnam's highest peak at 3,143 m. Explore the temples and the large Buddha statue near the summit, take in the mountain scenery and enjoy a lunch buffet of Vietnamese and international dishes.
Walk through Cat Cat Village, home to the Hmong
Learn about Hmong culture and traditions in Cat Cat Village in the Muong Hoa Valley. Stroll among traditional wooden houses, see the cascading waterfall and discover local crafts such as weaving and indigo dyeing. You can also rent traditional Hmong costumes for photos at an extra cost.
