The experience begins with a free buggy pickup from your accommodation in Maafushi or Maafushi Jetty, followed by a short ride to the riding area. If departing from Malé, you will be picked up at the Velana International Airport jetty or Jetty no. 7 in Malé and travel to Maafushi by speedboat for about 30 minutes. Meet your guide and horse, listen to the safety briefing and put on a helmet and other safety gear before starting your ride.

Head along the island coast to the sandbank

The riding route stretches along Maafushi Island, passing through the island and coastal areas toward the sandbank. Ride at a relaxed pace while enjoying the tropical scenery, sandy shores and turquoise lagoon.

Ride into the shallow lagoon with your horse

When you reach the sandbank and shallow lagoon, ride into the clear blue, knee-deep water with your horse. Pause for a while to enjoy the scenery and take photos with your phone.

Return while enjoying the island scenery

After exploring the coast, ride back with your guide and enjoy more of the island scenery. Professional photos, videos and drone footage are included depending on the package you choose. After the ride, return to Maafushi by buggy to end the experience.
